SLL Educate: Startup identity for growth

Stacey Leung, a language arts educator from Orange County, started a new company shifting her focus from a specialist teacher to a national educator for teachers, parents, and students alike. She needed to create a brand that would match her personality, express her ideas, and an expandable identity usable for future books, worksheets, and other educational materials.

Develop a flexible design language that evoked a friendly yet professional atmosphere using building blocks at the core of her identity, likening both to reading fundamentals and education as a whole. We created her logo, color palette, typography, and website design.

What I learned?

Success in design doesn’t have to be the flashiest, it can stem from a simple idea that helps the company’s target audience gain clarity for their product and service offerings.
